They don't need US. We need them. Mate X2 is a foldable with best cameras overall, true next gen device.
Shame it's pricy.

"Huawei has not issued any official statements regarding these speculations"
Yeah no s*** Sherlock, if a company REALLY had a plan to save themselves from the trouble they are in, they would keep it secret until the very last minute.
If this report ended up being true, you can expect that one angry senator in the US would be screaming in congress that Biden isn't working hard enough to "prevent the ban circumvention" yada yada.

it was such an obvious copy/paste that they even copied the bugs and manuals 1:1 from cisco :D

The ODM market a tough industry with quite a lot of competition. Brands like Xiaomi currently outsource the design of about 75% of their phones so there is a large market for this but it seems like it would be difficult for Huawei to compete on costs with companies like Longcheer, Wintech and Huaqin

And you know why? Because they been cheapest..
Not like cisco or other usa ripoff brands.. And made all units in china 🤷♂️
All small businesses purchased huawei network kits. Now usa gov commanded to strip all Huawei stuff.
But you don't know because you too young

Huawei was never big in the United States even before the ban. I'll only buy phones with Qualcomm chips. It's the most compatible with different bands here and great for emulation that the Kirin and Mediatek chip are not good for.

I like the fact Huawei does not give up so easily. I hope they will succeed. Their phones are very good, too bad we will not see any Android based(with Google services) Huawei phones anytime soon.

Why not use something like the "Texas Two-Step". Huawei could split up in different small subbrands and will therefore act like many new, small companies. It's the US-way, so why not use it ;)
