How is 1215 single core and - 3159 multicore geekbench a great result for the new SoC? This is SD888 level of performance (the SD888 has actually better MC performance), the M1 iPad pro is so far that it's not even funny

Anonymous, 18 Nov 2021Price. Is. A. Big. IssueIt's called inflation. Find a job that scales with it. Money supply went like 2x in 5 years, obviously prices should follow suit. $1000 from today is like $500 from 5 years ago. So this tab should be priced at $750 2015 dollar (i.e $1500 2021 dollars).
If you salary scaled with money supply in mind then this is cheap. If not, find a job that does not cut your salary every time the money supply jumps.

DFr, 17 Nov 2021genshin impact on this tab S8 will run at 120fps..while M1 doesntHAHA no it won't, my tab S7 struggles with 60 so I cap it at 30 medium/high. Keep in mind that these tablets run QHD+ so they have to push way more pixels with chips that will redline even with 1080p screens. Even the M1 can't 120 genshin in any stable manner AT LOW SETTINGS. CODM and maybe Apex is another story and will likely run 120 at decent settings.

Production... iPad Pro have more tablet creativity / productivity apps than Androids. Drawing, sketching, media creation.
Maybe you will say emulator games n64.. psx blah blah blah ... i suggest you see iPad pro running emulation on Youtube.
Android is just jack of all trades, master of none. So if you want this tablet.. the most is you use it like an handicap laptop.. running dex mode... thinking i would rather sink that money into a REAL laptop instead.
