Hemedans, 16 Nov 2021Make sense to use this New soc instead of Rumored sd 888.Considering that Samsung didn't launch any flagship Galaxy Tab tablet with Snapdragon 888 or 888+ this year, it does make sense after all. Also, with the high possibility of Samsung launching the Tab S8 series with Android 12/12L and OneUI 4.0 out of the box, I might not think of buying a Tab S7 or S7+ and just waiting for the Tab S8 series to arrive.

eld, 16 Nov 2021Hope it comes with a dual-boot setup..Android and Windows. ... moreSorry, but that's not going to happen. After all, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset is meant for Android devices. Also, Android and Windows have totally different drivers.

Samsung always launches the flagship Galaxy Tab tablets with a Snapdragon chipset, so it's great to see Samsung continuing this tradition. Maybe Samsung will use their Exynos chipset for the Lite or the FE model, but no one knows.

eld, 16 Nov 2021Hope it comes with a dual-boot setup..Android and Windows. ... moreWhy would you want Windows on an ARM powered tablet ?. Unless you plan to run the limited range of apps from the Microsoft store, you would be better off sticking with Android...

Dual boot tablet between Android And Windows sounds nice but won't happen from what I can see.
It would be cool to at least be able to use that screen real estate as an external screen. (I know this is possible through 3rth party apps but we need something proper to compete with side car)
After the slim bezel challenge I wonder how they would deal with rigidity of the chassis with the thin and wide dimentions.

Hope it comes with a dual-boot setup..Android and Windows.
If so, I'd gladly spent the price they are demanding.

Really disappointing performance, and on a tablet nonetheless where throttling should be less

I hope the new naming of Snapdragon will clear up my confusion between all the Series 6 and 7 chips, because those are seemingly split into 2 Tiers for each. I don’t know, is it the ones below and above 50 or what?
