LG has stopped selling altogether and Sony hardly available in major countries.
These companies were kicked out of major markets because they were providing cheap quality hardware at high price (in price category below 400$) Chinese manufacturers took over the market by providing high quality hardware at that price leaving companies like Sony into irrelevancy.

    This new trend of 100W actually keeps temperatures lower than your 10W-25W charging. And heat is subjected to for longer times on those outdated phones. This is why battery degradation is high on those lower Watt Charging phones.but you can continue to use laughable apps like accubattery and thing your battery health is unaffected.

      No professional would touch a software based on app like accubattery to judge battery capacity or health.

      In dependent labs actually give you accurate results.
      Send your phone to them and I'll believe whatever result they come up with.
      Your experience or some laughable accubattery app is far from legit.

          My 5 year phone shows 90% battery health with accubattery and other such apps.
          When clearly the battery performance is half of what I used to get.
          Maximum support is 10W cgargung for that phone.

              Charging my Pixel 3 XL to a limit of 80% max, using a 10 watt charger, resulted in only 9% capacity loss after 3 years as my daily driver.

                I forgot name of tech lg they use, but i can greatly increase battery life, my lg g8x has almost no heat when it charge (it charge slow though.

                About battery to remain 4000mah, usually 3900mah, 4000mah, 4050mah, 4100mah etc will be known as 4000mah, actual battery of lg g8x may be bigger than 4000mah

                  Prefer a more heat and power efficiënt chip than 150watt charging.

                  Not against fast charging itself, but it feels like Qualcomm will use this as a excuse for poor battery lives and more throttling due to heat instead.

                      Really depends on how one uses the phone. So screen on times are useless.
                      Besides a tiny 4.6" 720p display will obviously give you decent enough endurance.

                      I wasn't talking about endurance, I was talking about your battery health capacity claims over 4-5 yrs as bogus. Go in a proper lab and get it tested for accurate battery capacity results, not through some lame app on your phone.

                      Xiaomi degradation claims were certainly not based on accubattery app, they were based on proper accurate independent lab testing.

                          The fact that you use accubattery and other such apps to test battery health shows how much of an amatuer you are when it comes to actual tech knowledge.

                                If they can't have the grapes, then they must be sour.
                                If they can't have higher wattage fast charging from their favorite company, then it's automatically bad for your battery even though independent testing has proved otherwise.

                                Chinese brands have left a sour taste in their mouths.
                                These are the same guys who have their phones plugged to their chargers for hours before they are able to use them. They are just jealous of people charging their phones in 20-30 minutes

                                    Your battery health claims are all bogus as well, as they are provided by software based apps on your smartphone. Give your device for actual physical based testing in a lab and you'll know truth of how they are down to 60-70% of actual capacity.

                                    Those batteries inside Samsung, Sony, LG, Pixel and Apple have maximum 300-400 charge cycles before they drop to 90% (with slow charging). And it will drop further with subsequent charge cycles. So you claiming your Sony and LG losing 200 mah and none respectively after 5 years is laughable.

                                    *#*#4636#*#* on Android or the inbuilt apps on ios are not reliable.
                                    It will always say battery health is good even after years of usage and noticeable drop in battery life.

                                      Now that's innovation. "This will allow smartphones to fill up their batteries just 10 minutes." Yet the $1000 Google Pixel Pro when you include shipping a separate charger of Google, charges your phone from 0-100% in 2 Hours 😀

                                        And big companies can retain battery health for long time, as owner of Sony Xz1 compact from 2017 (2500mah out of 2700mah) and lg g8x from 2019 (still 4000mah).
