Oppo was supposed to focus on camera department, Vivo for fashion, Oneplus for the geek, and realme for middle and lower end. Now, Now, each one of them is competing against each other, and slowly losing ground to others outside China.

        I don't now why realme are abandoning the realme (number) series, last year the 8 series were more of a downgrade from the previous gen, then they quietly released the 8S on limited markets, then the gt master edition was released in some markets with a price that makes no sense at all. I don't understand what's the plan here, do they want people to go for oppo's A garbage series ?

And yeah I know 4k is overkill and even I hope Sony moves to QHD+ instead, but if its cheap, name any other chinese phone using it?
            Heck except the $1000 flagships, most phones only have FHD+ res.
            And 600 nits is much less than other flagships, but unless you are in direct noon sunlight, it isn't too much of a hassle.

                    BOM isn't same as for all manufacturers.
                    BOM is highly dependent on lot of factors.

Can imag... moreBut remember that's currency conversion prices. the prices that gsm posts in CNY (Chinese currency) when converted to the respected currency is how much it's equivalent to when converted. It DOESN'T mean that's how much it will retail outside of China. There's still import chargers, tax chargers etc

                            The RealMe gt launched in china for CNY 2,799 which when you convert it is 388 euros but the phone actually launched in europe for 499 which is a 111 euro difference

                                      Can imagine how many cheap/bad components to make this cheap.

                                      I'd rather have SD750 but better device overall.
