Yeah, he is a Genshin Impact player, but heck, he shows up how to force the processor to use the max power during his tests.

                      And he commented about the Apple case that the phones weakness is that it does not have a good thermal solution. If it had, it would have great performance. Better than the competition.

                        And there are software that fully use the power of it.

                        PS: A notebook peforms well, but is nothing compared to a big and classic PC.

                          Besides, Mobile CPUs are heavily limited by TDP and the real world performance depends a lot upon how much power the chip is allowed to consume.
                          A laptop 3060 with higher TDP can perform better than a 3070 with lower TDP.

                          A laptop will always have higher TDP which is why performance on them will always be higher than CPUs on smartphones which are limited to around 10W.

                          So these Geekbench scores are useless. This is why a15 might score high on single core Geekbench than core i9 laptop but because of limited TDP and poor cooling, you never see that performance in real world.

                                Anonymous, 25 Nov 2021Every time I see an Apple iPhone benchmark, I suspect some ... moreA big portion of real life experience depends on the kind of software bundled. We're not in an era where all Androids are same.

                                As we go mid range to low end, phones like Redmi 9A lag severely out of the box, without installing a single app or game. They have capable hardware (as Antutu suggests), and even the 2GB RAM is not too bad, but the software is the major culprit.

                                I don't blame Antutu for this, as I don't think we'll ever be able to benchmark OS versions and bunded apps in a fair manner.

                                  Every time I see an Apple iPhone benchmark, I suspect some cheating because this never translates into real world performance when loading games and in apps. Nevertheless, I can remember when the iPhone X came out (or XS, can't remember clearly), the iPhone was clearly in front of the competition in real world, but this was a bit all. So those benchmarks score are good but not at all representative of what the phone can do.
