Snapdragon 8 Gen1 phone may have just scored 1 million points in AnTuTu

rizki1, 24 Nov 2021i cant think how fast it is... developers should bring PC o... moreYou do realize smartphones doesn't have proper cooling solution like on PC and consoles? except the nubia Red Magic phones and Lenovo Legion which have a more advanced one but still not enough, most powerful phones throttle sooner or later, and they discharge the phone's battery very fast, unless the SD 8 Gen1 have amazing performance/watt it doesn't worth it.
Sometimes I see people complaining about games not supporting 120/165 FPS, that again will overheat the phones and discharge their battery even more.

      Yes, Antutu. Google (Android) devices got higher scores on this unreliable benchmark. Even then Google just blocked from their devices ( for the wannabes- Block here meant removed from Google Play and Blocked from Google search engine)

        these numbers don't mean a thing in the real world, just a marketing gimmick.

          Antutu is funny.

          Iphone 6s when announced has less than 50.000 of score.
          While phones with SD810 and S6 were over 53.000.

          Then new version of app released. Iphone jumped to 130.000, while SD810 phones with 65.000 and S6 with 62.000.

                      Yeah!, because a one million score on Antutu makes my texts type faster, my phone calls answer faster, my conversations happen faster and gives me bragging rights because of it. Until another 'phone' beats that score. wash, rinse, repeat...

                          Your biased cross platform benchmarks like Geekbench and 3dmark paint a completely different picture in virtual scores but it's never to be seen in real world.

                                  This year with the A15, Apple only came close to matching Snapdragon 865/870 score in Antutu. Not counting the throttling part where is starts operating with performance levels equivalent to Snapdragon 778G.
