Shellyman Studios, 26 Nov 20218Gx Gen 1? Huhh?!...Because they couldn't possibly call it 8Gx1 or 8G1. Or 8000G1 if 801 is an issue for their old chipet names. It's so weird. Qualcomm has the worst marketing team ever. At least their performance doesn't suck too, otherwise they'd be the worst.

Stupid naming convention just like all Qualcomm's chipsets to date. About as stupid as USB Gen 1 version 4 variant 3 revision 1 naming scheme they used last (or whatever it was called coz it was so stupid I can't be bothered to remember it)...

Then they complain the CPU is power hungry. People here want phone as small as iphone 13 pro, as slim as samsung s6. But with the huge cam system of mi 12 ultra, the huge 6000mAh battery of Rog5 and screen with at least 120Hz.
Also want the phone to always work below 32 celsius degrees in the summer , no matter the activity they are doing.
This is impossible ....
You can easily see that ipad mini has better performance stability than iphone 13 pro. This is because the large body.
Z4 Tablet did not have issues with SD810, because its tablet body deals easy with heat.
The non-"gaming phones" all have larger heat dissipation system (copper or graphite) compared to previous generations (SD865 devices), still they work at higher temperature.
Wanna demand more power? Fine, then dont complain when device is using burning battery faster and getting hotter than your previous phones.

- set screen 60Hz
- do not keep many apps in multitask
- do not play heavy demand games for 200 minutes in sequence nor run antutu 4x in sequence.
- use 4G (less power hungry, more stability, still great speed) .
Your device will surely gonna run much cooler.
