You having to leave a comment here means you had to take a look at the article, which means there's something interesting about this that made you click it, because you wouldn't be here in the first place if you really did not care, right??
As for good image quality, the Xperia cameras are the closest to true professional cameras in producing a natural image. The computational imaging found on the iPhones, Galaxies and Pixels are all completely overprocessed, especially when Night Mode is enabled, and they try to convince people that it looks good by heavily boosting the saturation and brightness, which creates a total mess covered in "beautiful colors and heavy noise reduction plus oversharpening."
Obviously you don't know this because you don't know how real cameras like Alphas produce images. If Canon and Nikon, or any other known camera manufacturer will produce a smartphone camera, I'd imagine it would be something similar to this phone. There's no way those OEMs would apply the unnatural imaging language of these smartphone brands.

Of course, whether that "different market sector" can be even deemed to exist in the first place is another topic to be discussed.

preorder of this pro i and 5 iii is live on december in malaysia... jealous... they are not yet in the philippines... i guess, have to import again from hk... or just wait for 1v or the next pro, not sure what kind of pro are they going to make since the pro og are for broadcast and pro i for vlogging... are they planning to make a pro for gaming?

Iphone 13 pro max takes much much better photos than xperia devices. sony just cant make smart phones or smart phone cameras. real cameras they are very good at but somehow cant or wont translate that to phone cameras. iphone cannot be beat by anyone but even in the inferior android system xperias are way below even trash devices such as oneplus etc.
