WhatsApp reportedly gets approval to expand WhatsApp Pay to 40 million users in India

That's double the number of users the payments service is currently available to in the country.

I'm one of those users who got this option. And I'm not happy for the following reason:-

1. The "rupee" icon (₹) is occupying space on the typing area. I accidentally end up clicking it while trying to type a message. There's no option in settings to make this disappear.
My phone has a 6.4 inch 1080p+ screen, and now there're 4 icons:- Attachment pin, Rupee icon (₹) and Camera icon to the right of message area. Plus, Smiley icon to the left of the message box makes it too busy... Too tough to click to message someone, you have to literally 'aim' now.
The screenshot by GSMArena doesn't show that icon.

2. I have no intention to use the payments option. At all. I don't want whatsapp to know about my personal life, but there're shoving this interference on our faces.
And, to top it, no option to disable it.
Can't even move from whatsapp, coz everyone in our largely ignorant country uses it.

                    I already have the payments feature in my app since last three or four years or so when it was only available to a very few people, like just 0.1 percent users. And I'm not even in the beta program
