          Now the point of copying...these arent copying...chinese oems copy anything that comes in no time whereas non chinese develop it further and take some time to bring in market...no wonder chinese oems copy worthless trends like removing memory card slot,headphone jack, charger in box ,whereas even if you call the non chinese copying ,they take the good things mostly

            Surprised that after this entire time, nobody has made a Daft Punk joke.

                    When realme, you will stop copying others design. The design is totally inspired from Google pixel 6 pro. First when realme came in India it gave us new creative designs but now it copies others' design or gives the design which it had given in the previous phones...
                    Even in the budget price (around 10,000) it has no new designs it totally repeats the phone which were launched 2 years bach with same type of body and a little twist in the design..

                      If FHD =1080p, then how can 2k or FHD+ be lower than 1080p in vertical resolution?

                      The horizontal resolution varies according to aspect ratio while staying above 2k pixels with vertical resolution fixed at 1080p.
                      This is why it is called 2k display or FHD+ or 1080p+ display.

                      Same thing when someone says 3k display.
                      It means..

Something like FHD+ gives you an idea that the resolution of FHD (1080x1920) had additional pixels added to elongate the aspect ratio.

                          By your definition, a 2k screen could be a 200x2000 resolution screen with a ridiculous 1:10/10:1 aspect ratio that would be basically useless for any normal content. Still 2k though, right?

                          The reason they use the HD monikers is because they designate a total number of pixels. 1080p is FHD because it is approximately 1 million pixels in total. QHD is approximately 2x that if I remember correctly (and 4x 720p/HD, hence the "quad" HD name) and 4k is 4x 1080p/FHD in total pixels (about 4 million).

                              4K/2160p = UHD.

                              3K = QHD+ (QHD has 2560 pixels horizontally while 3k has more than 3000 pixels horizontally).

                              1440p = QHD.

                              2K = FHD+ (FHD has 1920 pixels horizontally while 2k has more than 2000 pixels horizontally).

                              1080p = FHD

                              720p = HD

                                      Apple designs the phone and everything in it they just pay China to build it. Because China can do it quickly and cheaply and to a scale that no other country can match. if you moaning about cheap labour that's a government issue as each country should have standards on how workers are treated.
