Smartphone processing is way more advanced than Laptops and even Most Desktops. Most desktops cannot even playback 8k. I agree that smartphone makers are cutting corners on cameras, but, that may be on the lense quality, more than anything else. Smartphone makers need to make lenses than way out-resolve all ILC (DSLR and Mirrorless Cameras), per cubic micron, by a huge margin. Right now, the difference between the 2 may not be too great, with glass lenses on ILCs maybe resolving just a hair more detail (since smartphone sensors are like 1/30th-1/15th the size of ILC sensors, this difference may be confused with the final image output in MP, instead of seeing the actual sensor size, as a yardstick).

I have to agree it was a very good phone though, more compact size, fast charging, it's just that realme never fails to disappoint in the canera department. Besides, depending on where you bought your pixel 6, the pre-order gifts alone effectively lowers the price a lot. For example, i got a pixel 6 for 639€ with a Boss QC 45 which retails for 250€ and a 75€ voucher from google.

While others using Snapdragon variant never complained such issues... Do let me know which variant U had?

If that wasn't an insult enough, 256GB is the max storage option. I'm also in the USA, so 5G and a little bit of 4G would be lackluster for me? :'(
Also the SD888 overheats, does it not? I care about sustained performance as well. Single benchmark numbers aren't everything
