With corners that are less round you get more screen there
This is the reason why i always hated the rounded corner trend that went on most phones in 2017, but luckily the Note corners are much tamer in comparison

In games it is even worse than Exynos S21 Ultra because of poor cooling. Other Snapdragon 888 Flagship don't have such poor performance.

Really don't understand such rush for camera or why it is so hype, when most people in their lives uses camera rarely and amateurish way 🤷‍♂️
And that same / similar design 🤦‍♂️

As long as the resolution of the OLED is more than 1080p, the PenTile setup hurts my eyes at 1080p. Just doesn't look as sharp as LCD so needs a higher res. 1440p as least.

TheLastOracle, 30 Nov 2021The GN5 sensor will be put to the test on the S22 and S22+.... moreGN5 (a 1/1.56" sensor) being better then GN2 (a 1/1.12" sensor) would be a real miracle.
With the latter being practically the best mobile sensor commercially available today.
My guess is that GN5 will perform worse in challenging conditions then GN1 (a 1/1.3" sensor).

Ivo., 30 Nov 2021Nothing that you wrote makes any sense! Only the pixel size... moreIncorrect.
Individual pixel size is important for sensor light-gathering capabilities and improvement of signal-to-noise ratio. However sensor size (consequently pixel count x size of individual pixels) is important for amount of details resolved.
Plus manufacturers nowadays use pixel binning technologies to improve the light gathering capabilities by comparing combining information from neighboring smaller pixels, while resolving more details then small pixel count sensors - which is a reasonable compromise in my eyes.
A lot of detail is lost, yes. Particularly in low-light. BUT small pixel count sensors, are far from resolving 100% of the details as well.

Hmmm , another galaxy with no accessories in the box, and convenience features omitted.
Another galaxy that won’t be on my shopping list.

The GN5 sensor will be put to the test on the S22 and S22+. I am guessing it will be better than the GN2. I though wish Samsung has put a brighter lens in it.

iPhone 13 Pro will have a better camera and a better battery so you can use the camera for more time. Samsung and Android can hold no competition to the iPhone 13 Pro... it is embarassing.
