If this phone does use the 50MP JN1 0.64-microns yet they can continually say that the sensor can offer better quality verses larger 48 or 64MP sensors being used, surely this sensor being smaller will be cheaper to manufacturer than the larger 48/64MP units..
Omnivisions OV60A sensor follows the same suit, saves money..

Samsung we want qualcomm 480+ 5G cpu. Please change the tft screen to amoled and size to 6.4 inch. We will wait for that cpu or we will buy xiaomi 5g with 480+ cpu. We want 8gb ram with 64gb rom.
Samsung is best phone in world.

lmao samsung is becoming big joke of the year, they trolled iphone no charger in box last year and this they dont have charger and they even did that for headphone jack and they dont have it in they main phones. they removed the sd card this year too now even midrange a series getting camera upgrade while s22 ultra not getting proper update. next year note and s series getting merged and soon a and s series will get merged to and we need pay 1000+ to buy a downgraded phone. i hope lg come back, sony improve they software of both phone and camera and give more years update and asus to come to main rival of samsung and apple i dont want to go to chinese brands

I think Samsung will use 50mp JN1 at a13 and a23. First Samsung sold JN1 to Chinese oem ( xiaomi, bbk group, etc) to see smartphone market reaction. And bingo it got positive ( people think bigger MP always the best) so Samsung will use it too.

This is most definitely the JN1 cuz why would Samsung put an expensive sensor in a budget phone?

We like to have a23 5g phone with below hardware spec.
1. Display 6.4 " with amoled.
2. Cpu qualcomm 5g for atleast 4band.
3. Rear camera need dual setup no need triple setup with good colour optimise ( triple camera setup is too much of cost).
4. No need somany paperwork , but need backed cover.
5. For ram request is 8gb for 64gb rom.
6. Dolby sound system for speakers (like Lenovo phone spec).
7. No need too much of sensors.
8. Global wise give option for extend 4 years warranty.
9. Good motherboard without any power failure not like A30 or A31.
Note: we want qualcomm 5g cpu for A23 With mediatek cpu all the apps are crashing and battery drain also fast. If you are going to use 5g mediatek cpu then we don't buy this phone. Bcz 5000mah battery isn't enough atleast it need 7000mah battery.

SamsungFan, 30 Nov 2021Again, I am not quite understanding things here. I do agree... moreYeah, but who really digs so deeply to find what sensor it is? I'm a tech geek and I just don't care which sensor my iPhone has. In fact I never cared what sensor I had in Xiaomi Mi5 or Ascend P7 either. I just knew they did very good photos and they did. They all had smaller megapixel counts.

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2021I mean, just look at every single review of cheap phones. T... moreAgain, I am not quite understanding things here. I do agree with what you're saying but my question is whether it applies to every sensor. The HM series 108 MP sensor and the GN series 50 MP sensor use pixel binning to product 12 MP pics, which coupled with computational photography are pretty good.
Not denying Samsung\Xiaomi\BBK don't use the megapixels count as a marketing gimmick on some phones. I personally am not a fan of the A52s' 64 MP sensor. But here, seeing as how one comment mentioned that this could be the GN2 sensor, wouldn't that mean the picture quality would actually be good?
Or am I missing your original point and are you arguing for the fact that high megapixel sensors aren't needed since the phones end up binning the images anyway?

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2021What's even the point of these mega megapixel cameras ... moreSome companies like Samsung are using scam numbers like 108megapixel, 50Mp to impress customers who don't have enough knowledge about this
If they sey they have 12Mp people ignore them
That's why they called Scamsung and Xiaomeme

SamsungFan, 30 Nov 2021I am not too knowledgeable on this subject but doesn't... moreI mean, just look at every single review of cheap phones. They are all an absolute mess as soon as there isn't a bright day. They always have these huge megapixel cameras and they alway sproduce blurry washed out pixelated photos if it's morning, dusk, night, slightly cloudy etc. I'd rather see 12Mpix cameras that at least do decent photos in ALL conditions, even if they can't rival flagship cameras. But they seem to just bolt as many camera sthey can with as many megapixels possible with ZERO regard to what kind of images you actually get. Hell, Samsung Galaxy S2 from almost 12 years ago with 8Mpix camera did about the same photos as these cheap phones do today. Even entry models should do better after all this time and not just in megapixels count.

Anonymous, 30 Nov 2021What's even the point of these mega megapixel cameras ... moreI am not too knowledgeable on this subject but doesn't image quality depend on the sensor being used and the image processor on the SoC (which from what I gather is pretty decent for Qualcomm)?
I am not expecting a GN5 here but a good IMX sensor coupled with a Qualcomm chip would certainly make it worthwhile, right? Or am I not understanding this correctly?
Either way, I hope they retain headphone jack in this A2x series for the foreseeable future.
