Oh boy, I wonder how much data this would eat from my consumable mobile data plan. Reddit (Android) is already topping the charts in my data plan, I really do hope that they would give us toggles to disable these advanced features. I don't mind these features in the Web version though, it looks pretty handy and engaging.

This seems very distracting and more like a messaging app. I hope there will be an option to disable all this gimmicky completely useless stuff. How is knowing how many other people are typing is somehow going to make Reddit more useful? It's useful for its mature userbase on professional subreddits mainly. Otherwise, it's almost like a Facebook plus/Ultra when it comes to content.
