Shame on Samsung if that's the case. No snap means no buy. As it is they are going to downgrade it by removing the SD card option.

Samsung is Already the de facto Android Rival of Apple. It doesn't have to do what its already done.
"Pass off discounts to the customer? They are a business, not a charity. Deal with it."
Until such time as Samsung created the cult that Apple has created, discounts and freebies are necessary.
"If you're really on a budget, buy a midrange A-series Samsung phone, or one of those Chinese phones."
I've mostly used Note and S Series. I only wish the glass back on all phones, not just Samsung, were truly crack resistant. All glass black, even with military grade cases, are prone to hairline cracks. I've never used an A Series phone, but the A52 and A71/72 seem pretty promising. And I have no issued with plastic backs, if they don't crack like glass.

And it's obviously way too high, you could easily buy the vanilla S21 for less, so doesn't make sense.
I think the rumours of it being priced around EUR-650 might be right (or max 700), but certainly not EUR-900+

All users need is a note 20 Fe or Lite. With a snapdragon processor in it. Regular Note series is too expensive to buy makes sense to less expensive option for them.

since Asus never bothered to release the ZF8, this might be a good option if priced well~50k tops for base config. But the ZF8 still had the problem of 888 so it wasn't a great deal after all, but still one of the best (one)-handy phones!

the difference is "close to" GBP-200 or 200 Euros, not 367!
And probably around 100 of that would go into the better chip I think, then the better screen, a proper "telephoto" and then the extra margins

Why do they bother with an FE version of last year's phone? It isn't that different. It it cheaper to produce? It seems to have been a lot of extra work this time. All while axing the Note.

Not exactly as cheap as their predecessor lineup of Fan Edition. Is this still consider as fan edition if it's just the same with their original S series and it's not exactly cheap either. They could used sd870 instead of sd888 which actually getting hotter in the long term usage. Fan will decided whenever it is worth for the buck or not.
