One true fact is that Apple devices are not so friendly with the environment meaning that you have to charge your smartwatch almost every day while as Garmin needs to be recharged every 2-3 weeks (depending on usage). Also, many of the apps that Apple is offering to be installed on their devices are "fitness" apps.

Hello friends 30years ago I had a Casio watch which used to get charged with light or sun light i never charge or change any type of battery of that for many years. 🤔 where is that technology?

huawei are the best... got my gt watch back in 2018...till this day battery goes 1 week

Your comments about Watch 4 are incorrect. You can not use blood pressure or ECG with a non Samsung Phone. Something else you should point out... The Watch 4 does not use QI Charging. So, unless you've got a new Samsung phone you won't be able to use reverse power sharing. Lastly, most wear OS apps don't work well with the Watch. Google Fit is inaccurate. The compass does not correctly read altitude or barometric pressure. Most watch faces do not use samsung health so you're stuck with inaccurate Google Fit and whatever rubbish weather system is used by Wear O.S. the Watch is a step backwards.

Has OS with growing number of apps every day. All sensors including temperature. Lasts 5 days or 20 days on ultra saving mode. Has esim and can work as standalone cellphone.
And it looks great!

Smartwatches are 💩.
Those that are best, can't hold a day and night....so you need to choose what do you prefer it to do. Is it everyday s communication and fitness tracking or that it follow your sleep.
Those smartwatches that have better battery, those are not that smart. They have bad integration with mobile OSes, no third party support, and often are missing some sensors (and that's why they do have better battery life.
So, i prefer fitness bands over those not so smart watches, and i can't even think to buy galaxy watch or apple watch because of bad battery.
Maybe they will be able to fix that in 3-5 years, but right now ,it seems that they don't even care.

Although the Venu at ticks most of the boxes, even in the smartwatch category, not sure why everybody seems to be sleeping on Garmin...

If you are a sport guy making hikes for 6 hours, or hit the slope or you bike, non of the watches above can come closer to garmin.
