updated to the oxygen os 12 and its showing that my oneplus 9 pro has a snapdragon 855 inside. no hyper touch option.

Welcome oneplus to the bbk family... Congrats... Now you guys are on par with Realme users in term of software experienced..
Expect a few bugs here and there that will never be fix.

Lagasna69, 07 Dec 2021One plus before: Strong,can kill flagships,clean and smooth... moreThe OnePlus 9 was launched for less than a Galaxy S21 and can be found for cheap when imported, same goes for the OnePlus 9 Pro vs S21 Ultra, but IMO they are inferior to Samsung flagships so I'm not surprised they are cheaper.
OnePlus was always linked to OPPO and BBK Electronics, why do you think the OPPO RX17 Pro and OnePlus 6T looks similar, also the OPPO R11 and OnePlus 5, R11s and 5T.
ColorOS is great, Xiaomi and Samsung have extra features so why can't OnePlus? It's not a Pixel.

OnePlus was never a real flagship killer, they were midrange with SD 8xx like the other dude said
They started making flagships in 2019 with the 7 Pro, QHD displays, telephoto lens, stereo speakers, USB 3.1, in 2020 the 8 Pro brought wireless charging and IP rating, and other things, which explains the price bump but you still fail to realize that, stay deluded, not my problem.

Lagasna69, 07 Dec 2021One plus before: Strong,can kill flagships,clean and smooth... moreYou r right about the bloatwares, I had to uninstall or disable couple of useless apps when I got my OnePlus 9 Pro, the price is okay now, I got mine for $700 USD, the 12/256 variant. OnePlus now is heavily skinned the battery life is horrible.

I am using the OnePlus 9 Pro 12/256, which I got 2 days back, because it cost me only $700 USD. The battery life is horrible, worse than my old OnePlus 5T. But I had no choice, Pixel 6 Pro is over 1100 USD where I live. The software is smooth so far, the camera is acceptable comparable to iPhone 11 Pro at least or better. Not going to upgrade to android 12 until they iron out all the issues.

I was thinking about upgrading my OnePlus 9 to the new OS but I probably won't. There are reports of bugs and missing features all over the OnePlus subreddit.

at this time there is no android 12 update for oneplus 9 I see only the oneplus 9 pro....
