Chip production is the best bet to invest right now.

When TSMC has been showing n... moreTSMC 3nm is coming in Q1 2023, and Samsung might release 3GAA+ by then since their first 3GAA is coming in H2 2022. First TSMC 3nm will be only 20% more efficient then N5P but the second N3E should be much better, the same with Samsung, first 3GAA transistors will be only 25% more efficient then 4LPP and the second GAA transistors should be much better.

The main reason of the merger is due to the much inferior Exynos chipset.

Sorry for the OT, but is vertical banding in OLED displays frequent? My old A8 is clean but my new V21 has this issue visible on dark grey/green flat background, especially with low luminosity, I don't know what to do,it gets worse, better or it's a common issue and don't need replacement?

It very much depends on chip design too. RTX 3000 series are fabbed by Samsung and are not particularly hot or bad. In fact they deliver insane performance uplift and moderate consumption increase compared to last 2 generations. Snapdragon 888 was clearly pushed outside of its golden clock zones and wouldn't matter if TSMC fabbed them or Samsung, it would be hot regardless. Chip design matters, fab process only goes so far and usually just means cherry on top, not a defining thing unless the process is really bad. Which it isn't in Samsung's case.
