Anonymous, 08 Dec 2021You sound like a chinese sh!ll. This is pointless innovatio... moreHey there, racist dumhead.
This is a prototype, NOT a commercially available device (and that's for a reason). All that nitpicking of yours will be solved as the technology moves ahead.
P.S: It's still "more valuable innovation" than US' innovative ways to pull down a conglomerate.

Definitely love the rolling mechanism, but the foldable screen? No thanks. I still prefer LG's rollable screen solution since it doesn't involve any foldable screen in the first place.

You can see how stagnated some parts of the world are when they see innovation but cannot see innovation

I know some of you are already searching for tissue paper, but this is not doing it for me. This looks like the worst of all situations. My phone just needs to do what I need when I need it without causing unnecessary problems, without being easily breakable or having a lot of moving parts.

Not that i'm not a fan of innovation but this is one of those that's pretty much useless. Like LG wing, interesting but useless.

Seems like no one saw the video. It's just a foldable and the "rollable" screen looks more like a software implementation, since the size remained the same externally.
So, this device has no point in existing.

The tech is not ready for prime time.
I still don't see the point, as the experience is not seamless and until it is, a separate phone and tablet are better options for most.

That's impressive but I don’t think people would be interested at this stage as it takes too long to to the smartphone to roll into a tablet
Maybe in the next years new technology will allow to reduce the rolling time
At this time, it's better to focus how to improve the foldable experience like Samsung is doing it with his Fold series

The rest of the market is busy experimenting and learning how the technology works while Samsung is busy selling functional products. This looks like stuff Samsung was showcasing a decade ago when they were at the same stage in their evolution.

I think TCL is one of these companies that will make a highly impressive designed unique phone that will make oppo xiaomi Samsung Apple etc start to get a bit concerned.
I really love it when these underrated companies produce amazing and surprising stuff...
Remember when Mediatek was only making medium or budget SoC's? Well. Those days are over. Mediatek on paper at least seems to have possibly overtaken snapdragon... 9000 style.

A foldable and a rollable in one. I'm sure Samsung, LG and Oppo are impressed.
