The RGBs can be controlled via Bluetooth using an app.

Yes... because its nice to cool down your magnet on your iphone.... as SOC is not even close to it...

Hmm I'm not sure a Peltier element is such a good idea here, at the least not without a more fixed mount with thermal conducting paste.
Though moving heat from one side to the other, the Peltier element also produces a substantial amount of heat it self, so the fan will need to move away a lot more heat than if blowing directly. And if the thermal contact between the element and the device is not aided, it might work worse than pure airflow on the back.

I find the magsafe connection better for cooling because you have good contact between the phone's back and the cooling pad all the time. (Tested with BS funcooler pro and magnetic funcooler) I guess it's a matter of time before someone goes all in and creates a magnetic cooler that also wirelessly charges things.

Anonymous, 08 Dec 2021Where does it say charger? They revised the title of this article. The title before said something to the effect of : Razer is now making a magsafe charger fan cooler with RGB.

Is a neat cooler/wireless charger. Not rgb, though!

As usual, RAZER is behind the times and left out features, that will surely be included in their "v2" (so you buy both!)

Where is the second USB port for pass through charging? And, that outdated clamp will hit my power or volume buttons. Both if I try it on my Razer phone 2 :(

If this came with a special power brick for advanced cooling, it would be great, as I have many of these style ones, and a simple power brick won't cut it. That cooler will need to run @ at least a 2-3 amp power draw to do a dang thing. Most of these are gimmicks. Those modules don't really do well to cool a hot thing, unless way over powered. Very power inefficient.

I'm sure Black sharks is waaaaay better; they have had many years and versions to gain experience from.

Razer is very slow to the game. I already bought one that is brandless that can charge and cool (magsafe version as well) at the same time. The fact that Razer do not even post the specs of the peltier plate their using suggest this is a generic product slapped with Razer branding.

Oh, did I mention that I bought mine only for USD15. Only downside is that RGB is not adjustable. Quality wised, I have used it for 3 months now with no issue.

Can play Genshin Impact on 60FPS with phone from 100% to fully deplete (I was doing some test). The charging feature can be on/off.

The title here is a little misleading. The title suggests that this accessory is both a cooling fan and a magsafe charger all in one, which would make it the first of this kind. As it stands, black shark makes a magnetic funcooler which does the same thing for around 30$, and it's potent enough to allow prolonged 60 fps Genshin on the 13 pro max.

If it's not a hundred bucks then it's not a Razer product. Better spend on the black shark magnetic cooler.
