The assembly plant is paid to assemble according to orders. No more, no less. The only reason it's China is because sl ve labour is cheaper than paid labour and lots of companies likes that when looking at their expense accounts.

            I ordered mine when they first announced it is available for preordering.I waited about a month. Glad I was the many few that got theirs. With that said I went all out iphone 13 pro max 256gb.

                            Well, this happens when a single country makes almost everything for the whole world. It not would be better if some Apple products where made in USA, or in some European countries as well? I know that Chinese labor is cheaper, but if we can make cars in our own country, it COULD BE possible to make electronics too outside of China. Maybe some may disagree with me, but I am right.

And weird problems that never get addressed because vendors simply don't care because they want you to buy new phone every year pretty much. And any iPhone you buy you're guaranteed to have great experience. Where with Androids, anything below absoute flagships requires bunch of diging and reading reviews to find phone that's not dingus at something. And they always are at something. And even if they are amazing on paper, they slap cheap plastic on 900€ device. Like Samsung did with regular Galaxy S21. Yuck.

                                        I am quite disappointed in Apple. For years I only had Samsung. Now I decide to opt for Apple. What a disappointment. I applied on 15 October 2021 for my 1st ever Apple phone. It is 8 December 2021, I'm still waiting. All I hear is NO STOCK
