Honesty, I don't really think it makes much sense to keep beefing up these chips, without at least catching up with cooling first. There was nothing my pixel 4xl couldn't do, although I do absolutely love my new pixel 6 pro. But I chose it because of the software, and AI capabilities (No, I don't really care about the benchmarks, it's the model google uses,which is extremely versatile).
People need to stop obsessing over benchmarks though.

Look at all these noobs. Talking jack like they know something. Always bringing up how apple silicon is just better. They never mention how apple chipset is literally more than half bigger in physical dimension than the snapdragon 8 series. The amount of transistor is also..... unsurprisingly, 50% more in apple A series. And of course it results in...... Well, 50% better performance.
You guys are hilarious.

Sd 888 is another beast, very difficult to cool it and achieve sustainable perfomance.

If he used Golden methodology and test those intensive area definitely same result he would get.

I have also just seen the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 benchmarks on the same game (Motorola X30). Appaling framerates (just 45 fps) and the phone gets very warm (48c). Someone will jump and blame the cooling later on when the cooling is not to blame. The iPhone does 55 fps, with 45c, and runs at a higher resolution and graphics setting.

Still lyin... moreExcept the Redmagic. I’m genuinely worried that the motherboards of gaming phones especially the ROG Phone 5 will get toasted. Check ROG forums and you’ll see several ROG Phone 5 mobos dead (phone cannot be started), which has been a trademark in past ROG models. Xiaomi had this issue with the Blackshark 2.
Cooling is just a marketing gimmick to boost sales. Cooling only works on a PC.

android got the highest graphic options? no. Comparing iPhone to android in gaming is not even close if android can't even match the graphic option.
