I think providing stock android with bloat free software comes at a cost of slightly inferior hardware and customers are ready to compromise that with superior hardware. So RIP bloat-free stock android with competitive pricing.

Most people around the world doesn't need a flagship phone. They need a phone, simple math. I still know people around me that use a basic phone, not smartphone. For these people around 60-70 years old are cheap Nokias perfect.

That's what I call last seizure before death. No to trash the newest Exynos chips, but when you damaged your reputation by putting a worse performing Exynos in the same phone for some regions, this is the reputation you get for your product :)).

so its much higher clocked than the vanilla 7884 and even higher clocked than the 7904 in my grandmother's M30, so I expect it to perform decently well for most average tasks given the clean/stock ui. Even the M30 is generally smooth until you push it too hard, heck it played pubg better than my old SD820 phone since it didn't heat up and throttle!

Give thanks to Juho and how he took advantage of HMD to gain a work at Qualcomm. Funny how months later the hot 888 got released lol. That guy sure brings bad luck.

as for HMD, it's too late for them and the damage is done. They lost momentum after those notched abortions they launched on 2018, and started gimping specs on their best sellers (Nokia 6 & 7). They lost the battle by focusing on markets that were already saturated (India, China), instead of making themselves a name on markets with opportunity (Latam, Europe)
