My understanding is though that more and more people are getting into photography so hopefully more people will learn something about phones as well.

          If Samsung is not going to put back the microSD card slot like they did with the Galaxy S6, abandon 128GB altogether. For a smartphone that can do 8K/30fps video, 128GB internal storage is a complete joke.

I gave him three choice since Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is not officially available in my country: Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, OnePlus 9 Pro, and Sony Xperia 1 iii. I didn't recommend any of them to him and instead asked him to truly understand what he want from a smartphone. Guess what he bought? The Xperia. He's not a mobile photograhy geek since he still has his own three-year-old DSLR camera, but he loves the Xperia for being a complete hardware. The headphone jack and the microSD card slot is something he truly values a lot.

                Hey Samsung, my s20 plus have 12gb ram and 128 gb storage as basic, now after two generation you put 8gb ram and same 128gb storage?!?!?! WTF??? Sorry, after many years with only Samsung, I m gonna switch to Iphone

                    Sony Xperia has already left 128GB storage and went straight to 256GB Xperia 1 II and 512GB Xperia 1 III and both has 12GB of ram and samsung still using that 128GB

                      256Gb max storage and no SD card, no jack, no user-replaceable battery: Planned Obsolescence.

                        Everyone else is blindly following Apple, saying that the SD card is "outdated". Fine, if something that is still being made even today is outdated, then give us the swappable micro SSD! Ohh, it hasn't been invented yet? Then bring back the SD card slot!

                            After removing the sd card, they should bring back 1 tb storage but instead they still offer some measly 128 gb that you will fill up in 2 weeks

                                  I always say this to people: if you want a $1000+ smartphone, go for either Apple or Sony, others will scan you with specs. This Samsung phones are just specs, plus if anything happens to the screen, you'll have to spend double.

                                    99 out of 100 have no clue they just sign up for a new two year contract most people know nothing about the brand of the prosessor and if they know Abit the guy in the store will comvinse them it's all good.
                                    And honestly I don't notice the difference most just snap some photos surf the web ect.

                                        I'd loved to have seen a compact version - a S22e perhaps. Soft spot for a compact phone and only Apple are nailing that right now.
