At least the Note name didn't die and is being merged with the S series. That's fine. No big deal. People making a big deal out of losing the Note series. It's just a name. What you want is the stylus.

Moto, Nokia, the other BBK brands, Sony (especially Sony) can't seem to communicate their flagship vision as effectively.

At least I'll know I'm still using a "Note" phone. It's also important name -wise to differentiate it from other S22 phones. I'm sure it's mainly us long term Note users who prefer this name to S22 Ultra.

Ideally, Fold 4: When closed, no curve Note 4 like screen with S-Pen support, so ideal for jotting things down without opening up device. When opened, 1:1 screen with no notch or pin hole (like Fold 3), but thinner and longer battery life than Fold 3.
Or, Note 4 like no curve screen that stretches out to 1:1 using a roller mechanism as shown off by LG and some Chinese companies, and maybe even Samsung. And give it stonking power so it can run iPad Pro or even desktop like creative apps and games.

It's a good thing if the device is called S22 Note. Seems logical, when they really want to merge the two. The Note name means a lot for a lot of Note users, so it's only a good thing when they decide to keep the Note moniker for brand recognition.

Ultra sounds much better, as it is a phone from the S series with a built-in pen, not a true note.
