Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra could end up called Galaxy S22 Note

James, 10 Dec 2021The z fold series didnt sell well because its very expensive. It is pricy, but that's not the only reason why people don't choose to buy a Fold. Personally I don't like the form factor. There's no logic for the square shape of the interior display when videos are playing.
Also, the most important thing for me is that it doesn't have the SD card slot.
No SD card slot = No buy!

Looking at the most recent Galaxy Note model to date, it's not much of a difference from the Galaxy S20 Ultra in terms of hardware. Come to think about it, this isn't such a bad idea after all.

at this point phone naming sounds more like saiyan transformation than anything else....this is S22 and this is further we call it S22+ and then further beyong AAAAAAHHHH this is S22 Ultra Note but i can only keep this form for a little bit.....

I thinked Samsung make decisions to use "note" rather "ultra" to take back royal note users again to buy their phones. Samsung realize there's note die hard fans and they're not buying anything from Samsung if note series not exist anymore.

Other OEM releasing new phone every month but samsung have problem with releasing high end flagship note series yearly.

Yes I can see that. I wouldn't be mad if that happened. Actually it would save Samsung money and would allow them to focus and make sure phones get the best improvements possible.

does not feel the difference and is distinctive again from the Samsung Note series. Note series is dead after Note 8 in my view.

Honestly I think this naming system is better as it doesn't kill the note series but replaces it as the Samsung flagship, Ultra does sound cheesy and note just has better connotations to Samsung enthusiast flagships.
