It takes a lot of R&D for Apple and Samsung to create their software, and it costs billions. And Samsung has devices in almost all price ranges (except the minus 100 euros/dollars), with inferior hardware options of course. And people generally DO choose the faster processor within their price target, at least in many markets (US market for example is an exception).

    Cheap but poor quality

      If they remove bloats and ads they will be no one in no time.

        Was a Redmi user for 2 years beore switching to Realme for last 3 months.

        Honest feedback:
        Better optimised UI
        Less bugs
        Smoother interface
        Better features

        Xiaomi is just too cluttered

Put any iphone and samsung with same specs the same price as realme, you would see people dont buy realme anymore.

              Anonymous, 11 Dec 2021I never tried realme phone before, can someone who own one ... moreThe software in Realme phones is basically a rebrand of Oppo's Color os, which is not bad at all, it's smooth, easy to use, and has a lot of customization.
              Also phones running Realme Ui/Color Os tend to be more stable and more optimized software wise, than Xiaomi Phones running Miui.

                Anonymous, 11 Dec 2021They are good enough but camera isn't par to xiaomiWhile the sensors don't have as many megapixels than Xiaomi's, I actually prefer the color that the camera of Realme/Oppo phones produce, a lot better than Xiaomi, in my opinion it looks less artificial, but of course this is just my personal opinion.

                    Real reason is Redmi slowly increasing prices under the hood. They remove 8gb varients to justify 6gb phones. Slowly their selling strategy going towards midrange market since OnePlus became expensive. OPPO Vivo don't have chance to survive for longtime in Indian market. Realme is not a worthy competition to Redmi, but they have strong advertising team for sub-par or half baked phones

                        xiaomi really not focusing in entry level all models have low MTK where as realme give snapdargon 460 so if user not satisfy at least he can try custom ROMs .
                        but in redmi entry level no choice before 9 series mostly redmi models come with SD chip.

                                        Xiaomi really needs to stop selling rebranded models here or they'll just be narrowed down to uber budget phones. Xiaomi now needs to launch global models as well here and truly focus outside China, if they're really interested in surviving in India.
