2. the phone would probably end up like a camera, which is counter-productive for a phone. I don't think many people would want to have a bulky heavy smartphone...

If people need that better camera than smartphone camera (which already very good for most users) they would just go for good camera...

The round camera housing looks like a cheap toy. Not a single line is matching to that big ugly circle.
They should have stayed with the same design with the small screen on the side. That makes a really nice fit with purpose. One can use the small screen for high quality selfies and than just use the "not so prefected" under screen camera for video calls. The perfect package 🙂
