No, a wired earphone consume really little, here is a discution about it :
https://www.quora.com/How-much-current-do-headphones-typically-draw-from-an-audio-source
Now here is the Wiki data on Bluetooth normal and LE :
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth_Low_Energy#Radio_interface
The difference is tiny.
Now, the Bluetooth is CONSTANTLY draining energy to keep the device connected even when no sound is emitted, while speakers only consume when a sound is.
https://www.androidauthority.com/does-bluetooth-drain-battery-1145853/
Bluetooth will consume depending on the data rate and distance regardless of the average volume, while earphone will consume depending on the volume (main and average of the sound listened).
Regardless, in BOTH cases, it is a small consumption.
But the wired is the more power friendly one, as it doesn't continuously drain power, which make up the difference.
And we aren't even talking about using your phone to recharge your wireless equipment, which obviously drain a lot more power in such case.

Once again : Every market have diversity except smartphone one, no other market focus ONLY on a SINGLE design over and over nor ONLY on stuff that sells the most.

Is it me or are these kind of large glass plates are more vulnerable for flares produced by light sources? I have the Ultra 11 and it's really hard to work around lens flares at night.

What is the power difference from bluetooth to directly powering drivers?
Unless the wired option is at a bare minimum volume I would think the bluetooth is the more power friendly choice.

it doesn't look bad
but that giant black monster on the back is trash
why someone would need 4 or 5 cameras
1 or 2 cameras are sufficient for more than 90 percent of people
having the hole back of the phone covered in cameras is trash ,its a deal breaker, its donna weight more than 250g with these useless number of cameras
why no one use 1 or 2 camera or maximum 3 like google and apple do
and they beat others in cameras despite having less cameras
imagine holding a phone and your fingers are on top of a giant black trash
its not convenient or comfortable . Better buy a tablet then
tablets without these cameras will be more comfortable
giant notches or black holes in display and giant black monster in the back filled with useless cameras that makes a cheap phones cost more than 1500 dollars and make it weight more than 250g is ****
if you want 5 cameras buy 5 cameras
I will not be shocked if they add a webcam , a keyboard and a gamepad to the phone and make it weight more than a big tablet
I wish they make normal phones like the mi 9 with 3 cameras and a small camera island that doesn't take more than 20 percent of the back and make the phone handicapped and not symmetrical

Most companies are going to collect feedback from their users. That's the point. Anyway, they will probably know whether this feature is used a lot or not and they can make a decision based on that. They can't satisfy everyone but will want to satisfy the majority of their target market for this phone. If they remove it then it's probably because they don't view it as a key selling point. If they keep it then it's probably because it's a popular feature

Yeah, but why would ONE phone series or special variant with it be so much of a problem that it needs to be pointed out?
Mainly, considering its predecessor had it.
It is like complaining that the Zenfone have a flip cam, like, just buy another phone then.
The fact it isn't the most requested feature, or add cost, or other things like that is NOT a justification for not having few models with such feature.
If we start to see everything things that way, you'd still have this as the smartphone available :
https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_mi_1s-4929.php
Single camera, because who REALLY need multiple camera on a smartphone when you can just buy a camera?
Who REALLY need a super high resolution display with high refresh rate?
Who have REAL use of 4G when you can just wait?
Who NEED more than 4Gb of internal memory when you have the cloud?
The problem here is that you write your opinion as a statement as if you could speak for everybody (not just you, EVERYONE is this darn community, THIS is the problem), and as if you really need ALL phones to match YOURS specifications and the trend.
Do you even plan on buying this phone?
Even if yours is far more polite and soft than how many say it, all of those comments are what killed diversity.
Literally, nail-clippers have a hundred times more diversity than smartphones despite the huge number of possible designs, options and features smartphones can have.
And that's just ONE example, everything else have much more diversity than smartphone, and their common point is that in most/all, their community doesn't ask as if a SINGLE model/series with a specific feature would ruin their ability to buy a phone without it.
Imagine complaining about Ford making sport cars (like the Mustang) because only a minority buy them compared to all the rest, why would you care?

AnonD-909757, 14 Dec 2021See, the thing is, with a second display on the back you ha... moreA fair point. I totally agree with you on the headphone jack and sd card. In terms of the rear display it is not something that is commonly provided on phones (only a few brands like Meizu and Vivo and then later Xiaomi used it) and it also adds a bit of cost to the phone. The other two add virtually nothing in cost and the sd card can actually help the consumer save a bit of money as it gives you the option of buying a lower storage variant and using an sd card if necessary. Expensive flagships always charge a premium for higher storage variants compared to cheaper models which is also a ridiculous practice designed to increase already high profit margins.
For me I'd prefer the cost of the rear display to be spent elsewhere or passed on to the consumer but I take your point. Choice is always a good thing

Aierlan, 14 Dec 2021In reality though, do many people want ultra clear selfies ... moreSee, the thing is, with a second display on the back you have something called CHOICE.
I'm not talking about removing the front camera here, just about a second display on the back.
If you prefer using the main, better, rear camera, you can, and if you prefer using the front selfie camera, you can.
The SAME thing with an SD card slot and the 3.5mm Jack, you have the CHOICE to use them or not, no one force you to buy a smaller storage variant because of the SD card nor to use the Jack over Bluetooth if you don't want to.
Saying that "because some people doesn't use X or Y feature then it should be removed" is the SAME as saying "why are we making a/this city disabled friendly when they are only a minority?".
What is wrong with people in the Android community?

The biggest users of selfie cams are young female consumers most of which are going to use beauty modes in any case so the front camera tailored for selfies is going to suit the majority of their needs better. Of course there are exceptions but I guess they probably got feedback from their users in China at least, which is where the vast majority of their more expensive models are sold. Personally think it makes sense to remove it and just add a better selfie cam

Anonymous, 13 Dec 2021Dear. You need to understand.
Second screen increases ... moreDear. You need to understand.
*Many would buy it FOR the second display, and super expensive phones proved many times that there are a bunch of buyers for costlier phones, and AGAIN, no need for 120FPS HRD+ 4k*4K miniled display, a decent cheap LCD would do the job.
*The DISPLAY is fragile, if anything, it will make the body stronger as you are ADDING an element, a hole in the display make it more fragile.
*Once AGAIN, NOT if you simply put it on the back WITHOUT changing its actual size, the camera already protrude, putting a display, so it comes flush (thickness wise) to the camera hump would fix the battery issue.
*It has been PROVED that front facing camera were used in a LOT of occasions to spy on users, most SECURITY EXPERTS advise covering laptop camera, Windows, Linux and MacOS are MUCH MORE secure than Android, but maybe you know more than security experts?
Being paranoid doesn't mean being wrong, but people being overly skeptical because something "seem too crazy to be true" is way off the reality than someone paranoid.
And being appropriately careful about something that has been PROVEN is not being paranoid, it is called common sense.
*You know nothing about privacy, private data, all the underlying things that an image of you AND your surrounding can give, identity thief, mass surveillance and racial/ethnic targeting.
Educate yourself before making totally false statements about privacy.
