This material is considered to be eco-friendly because it reduces the carbon emissions per kilogram, DURING PRODUCTION. It's irrespective of packaging, shipping etc because producing the phone itself has 63% less emissions than traditional materials, and this percentage doesn't include other carbon emissions from other operations. It's better than using traditional materials, which is exactly what the marketing is telling customers so there is literally nothing wrong with anything mentioned in this article but you randomly decided to rant about it with irrelevant and incorrect information.

what, environmentally friendly? is the phone going to decompose itself after some time?(i hope not 😄😄😄) less carbon emissions? what about world wide shipping with hfo fueled ships and kerosene fueled airplanes? can't they just leave this "we're gonna save the world, kiddies" - advertisement aside? what about using phones for several years and offering normal software without updates that kill your phone's performance after a certain period of time instead of using salami tactic to sell years old technology as innovation and updates where your phone becomes slower than faster? and now don't tell me i'm some crazy guy.
