Also, Oppo isn't a semiconductor company.

One source claims Oppo is using the teardrop hinge. Since they are using Samsung's display, this is really going to get interesting. If they truly got rid of the crease or reduced the appearance of the crease, it is another example of why Samsung should adapt the wedge hinge design. It already looks like there is little to no gap. However, I already know how marketing works with certain manufacturers. The image could be false to draw interest and no crease could mean you won't see it unless you are looking for it. That is not the same as getting rid of it.

No hate on Samsung but the folded Z Fold 3 has a very awkward aspect ratio, it feels like a bloated TV remote that way.
This one looks promising based on leaked renders in terms of open-closed sizing. If they price it competitively then it'd be great for the future of foldables.

ZFlip 3 already did wonders for flip phone pricing, hoping the same happens for foldable phones soon.

                Foldables here Foldable there.
Since bar phone is far better in build quality and durabilty compared to any foldable also cost much less making foldable phones is not reliable.
They are nothing just expensive gimick where even a brand new Tablet along with brand new phone bought together will cost half of the foldable with qual of the specs of those two.
I really wonder why companie pusing making foldables if ordinary people cant afford this and msot rich people will rather spend on something reliable than literrary toss money our of window.
