Oppo just want to show the world the ability to copy iphone pro max (Oppo find X) and samsung z fold (Oppo find N). That's it.

Majority of revenues comes from A series and Reno series.

Ok Oppo, now remove the fold display and make it a 5.4" 18:9 candybar phone. Or even 5.2 thankyou.

Interesting phone the foldable screen is apparently made by Samsung, so it should be pretty durable. Superb pricing. Inner display is good. Outer display seems too wide to hold comfortably, even though its 16:9(?). The folding mechanism is great. Good design. Not as polished as the Fold 3, but great for the price. The price seems unusually low. I wonder what the actual quality is like.

Someone needs to come in and disrupt this industry.

Add stylus support and remove the two punched holes, and I will consider. However I think Samsung will do this with the Fold 4 and widen the outer screen and remove the hole from the front screen. The inside screen is ok on the Fold 3.

You know what? Get rid of the foldable nonsense and just give me that cover screen as the only screen in a normal slab smartphone. That would be a unique selling point.

Compact size for day to day use.

Hoping this causes some competition to get samsung price lower on the z fold 3. I know it's hard to compete with chinese brands that will use larger economies of scale, funding from CCP or whatnot but Samsung would be the more trustable brand for me considering the way the Chinese government handles data, censorship and human rights. Wouldn't want all my info on a chinese phone so here's hoping Samsung clap their prices down and we get a great z fold 4 release.

The old Xperia Z ultra with 6.4" 16:9 ratio have screen are of 120 square millimetres compared to modern 6.4" 19.5:9 displays with only 100 sq mm.

Oppo find uses a Sieko Hinge..which is expensive., but really long lasting..good of Oppo to do this. Surely with entry of more players in folder sphere, the prices must tumble. Hoping for $ 750 folder by 2023.
