After 300 ppi you can't see pixels then whats use of increasing ppi to 441 with Droid DNA and now 468.

Sorry .. no sd card no removable battery no buy.

HTC has become apple wannabe, with blinded sheep fans following.

Apple small non removable battery capacity -> HTC follows..
Apple retina display -> HTC follows..
Apple no sd slot -> HTC follows..
Apple sim slot -> HTC follows..

At least samsung fans can rejoice! No completion haha.

The problem with releasing high-end devices is that people expect a certain level of after-sales support for them. In the case of mobile phones, that comes, in part, in the form of software updates. Barely a year ago, the Sensation and its variants were HTCs flagships but the JB update for them is nowhere to be found (running JB AOKP on my XE myself). Some of the One series may have been updated to JB already but can they expect any updates beyond that? Naturally, HTC will have to focus on rolling out updates (i.e. 5.0) for these more recent models like the Butterfly/DNA and M7.

Don't they know that that they can store up to 13 times less data on google drive and then access it while burning out their battery and gigabytes in their monthly cellphone plan?

I mean, really people, why even waste money on phones that have more than 32mb (yes, megabytes) internal storage when there's google drive?

To the people saying htc has so many flagship devices in the past year... Well its not true. When I bought the one x I didn't feel like getting the one x+ also htc butterfly or droid dna whichever you want to call it isn't available in all countries, although it did appeal to my eye, it hasn't been released in England. The m7 i'm particularly excited about, and hopefully it's released around the same time i'm due my upgrade. My advice to people that moan about to many phones... Just remember its just a phone, get a phone that is future proof for at least a year... iphone 5 came out AFTER the one x. Yet the one x still trumps it with power.

Advances in chemistry come at a much lower rate than in electronics and making a final end user product often takes many years. Sometimes promising development turns out to be a dead end, but you will not find that out until you have spent years and lots of money on it.

HTC keep doing this they promised that they would not rush products and concentrate on a few really high quality phones this was about a year ago and they are already back to their old tricks.

On the other hand Samsung have 2 real flagships and they are sufficiently different and hit different segments of the market and therefore compliment each other (Galaxy S and Galaxy Note). You are absolutely right that they do not compromise these two with funny business and they generally wait 12 months for the next versions.
