1st of all its unlikely they would put removable battery . And absense of microsd card is a big no no . What if my phone goes nuts and I have to put it into service station ? If it had a Microsd card I can swap it . But in this case I would have to hand over the phone with my sensitive data ? And also 468ppi with 2300 mah battery ? Minimum 3000mah is required atleast .

SoLux was the key which shoud be applied in every hand held device having display. Congratulation to HTC. Please change your design of the handset too. Every design is quite similar.

Increasing specs (now ppi fashion) is useless with current batteries...come on money should be spent on improving batteries..this is technology!

Dezza, 18 Dec 2012Actually without Android, Tegra/Intel and so on wouldn't be... moreWhile you do have a point, a valid argument can be made for the other side as well. Part of the reason people spend so much money on flagship devices is the satisfaction they get knowing that they own the best damn phone/tablet out there. Buying a solid mid-ranger would be a lot more cost effective since a lot of them offer slightly reduced specs/features for a significantly reduced price, yet a lot more people will go for the flagship device.
Now, when your flagship stops being a flagship, how do you feel? Not good, and HTC users will have felt like that 4 times in a period of 1 year;
Feb 2012 - One X
Nov 2012 - One X+
Dec 2012 - Butterfly
Feb 2013 - M7
How does the guy who spent tons of money on a One X feel? He's had his phone for a year and HTC's had 3 flagships since then. A guy who bought a Galaxy S1 three years ago feels better and that really isn't fair. Samsung does it a lot smarter; 1 flagship phone every 10-12 months and whatever they make in between, they make sure as hell that it's either weaker or in a completely different class than the flagship (phablet, tablet etc.)

This shows that HTC Butterfly will be outdated soon so no point buying. HTC refresh cycle is too fast and it makes their phones no value at all.

Htc is a big fail,. they introduce powerful phones that can take over the market, but they put a tiny battery that u cant get through half a day. HTC, the word got around about your batteries and no one takes risks anymore with you guy. Go introduce a 5 inch screen with 446 ppi with 1800 mah battery

SiTdOwN, 18 Dec 2012this is a joke... how do you call everyphone you release ev... moreActually without Android, Tegra/Intel and so on wouldn't be so widespread and the entire industry would stagnate and fall behind if it rested it's laurels on Serbian, WP8 and IOS. What ruins innovation and the industry are ridiculous patents which limits our choice as consumers, with Android at least you get a vast amount of choice. Be grateful at least and stop complaining like a whining child who refuses to appreciate the beauty of getting to choose and sample new technology sooner rather than later.
