19 December 2021
The Xperia Pro-I features a 1" type sensor, which is the same one we have on Sony's RX100 VII.

Philip Bloom is an amazing honest creative talent. It is good to see Sony is spot on with product, for their intended audience.

            I really love this phone

"Photography and video for me has always been about capturing a moment in time, a real moment... the power of the image could easily be diminished if it no longer accurately represents that moment in time."

This is why I am always skeptical when it comes to phones with the alleged 'best camera'. Even cheaper midrange phones are just as capable, it mainly comes down to the software processing and now that hardware upgrades are no longer significant. For example the S22 ultra is said to take much better photos despite using the same sensors as the previous generation. But like Philip was saying, at what point do we know when a picture is 'literally' too good to be true? Only time will tell

"My main concern is starting to happen already in the photo side where we are seeing AI enhance the photo to the point it does not resemble what is actually there."

                Cough cough samsung/apple/google.

                  Something not advertised.

If you have proper tools to do it, you can swap the 12/512GB for 18/1000GB.
                  It is gonna work well.
But obviously you lose your warranty.

"The image looks much more natural and less over processed and this is the biggest issue that I’ve had with other phones.".

All this to make people wrongly think the texture is real and full of details. People should more listen pros and not youtubers.

"The Sony Xperia PRO-I is the most capable smartphone for photography that we've ever tested, but it's also by far the most expensive - only you can decide if it fits within your own personal workflow."
