Well you really can't coz' you haven't used one. .lol. .BTW. .Droid RazrM runs on a single 2ghz intel atom procie. right? If that can handle Ics, so is a Wp device, coz' We all know Wp runs better than Droids. :)

Hello gys..
I have updated my lumia 710 & lumia 510 from Nokia care in India. 7.8 is available for entire old lumia series.
Major changes are home screen,Bluetooth share app(from Nokia,and camera performance the most I like, no yellow tint in snaps.and office app and bootup screen is like windows 8.

6 month delay from announcement means this is the issue.
And version on 4.1 and above , yes there is no lag.
Or they lie or aren't cleaning the dalvik cache or
doing a regular factory reset.
2013 is the year of 1080p and true smoothness
with high end superchips driving Android.

Wew. .after JacktheBITTER, here comes Droided. .lol. .bro, some of the phones are better-off with Gingerbread, and youre saying that lag on Android would be a Lie? Maybe? On those flagships only with your overrated 4/8cores, 2Gbrams. And you can't say that Ms would cancel the update coz' some of the Lumia owners esp. in India got the Update. When will you learn Droided? :)

for all device to 4.0 soon.
Just they will release that when it's ready.
They are busy helping Apple out with their maps so users are Ok with the delay.

I got the official windows 7.8 update yesterday evening for my nokia lumia 800 from the nokia service center in India so please i beg everyone to stop spreading the false rumors about Quarter 1 update because its already out go and get it at your nearest service center in India .

I am from India.
The new features I found out are
Bluetooth File Transfer
Ringtone maker
New WP 8 UI
New WP boot Screen
IE search option can be changed to Google
More Colours in the Theme
There is new selection in Settings called Network but its the settings for Call and SMS
Nokia Drive got an update.
And I feel an overall performance change, in the name of Speed as well as Battery back up....

kind your information update available in Nokia care I am using windows 7.8 in my phon and U Can also update lumia 510 ,lumia 710...its working good,,blutooth sharing....

Anonymous, 18 Dec 2012The PR.1 update is ONLY on the Lumia 920 to fix the camera issuesyes you're right... only the lumia 920 P.R 1 update has been confirmed, BUT there is likely a full WP8 update this month as well. See this link.. right now it's more of a rumour, but it will likely turn out to be true because many of the bug fixes needed on the lumia 920 are NOT just applicable to the lumias but rather all WP8 phones.
Regardless, the point is, android talks about one update per OS revision every 6months, then gives them to you 8-10 months after being released.. here WP8 was released about 2months ago, and HTC already got an update, lumia's are getting an update, and a full OS update is likely goign to be happening before end of this year or in month of jan. WP8 is FAR ahead in updates than any other OS period.
