Nokia: Windows Phone 7.8 not coming out until 2013

and for those who think that 7.8 is only about resizeable livetiles...usb otg is also added..bt sharing is enabled..and multiple core support was the only thing was the only thing that prevented microsoft from naming the update as 7.8 or else there is no difference between them....

why does windows like to keep people waiting this is one of the advantage android and the ios has over windows they keep people waiting for too long and when whatever they are hiding finally comes out it does'nt live up to expectation,they really need to do something about this time waisting.

unfortunately the phone everything is good but we cant install software like computer and we cant do everything
except useless software so instead of buying this fone guys better to buy a mini laptop and carry whatever we like best cause now we as a new generation we need to work online job business through internet like network business and different softwares to improve aur knowledge and better understanding and we wont regret forever untill u can buy a new one cause i my self phone it just a style and show off no meaning when we compare the cost of the phone and the computer.....

android have the guts to come here and talk smack about windows OS when microsoft already announced a pr.1 update on WP8! and the update is giong to be seeded out before new years!
WP8 is like 2 months old and we're already getting a huge update for it.. not just one phone, but ALL users of the WP8 OS will have the update before new years..
android gives updates like its luxury. you feel like you just won the world when you finally get that update on android that was announced 18mnths ago.

S2... morejust for fun because I really really like fandroids...compare one s with s2/lumia 900 and then comeback here and claim again "Android is much better in battery life" - key words, "much better":)...just because you can't see beyond the android wall, it doesn't mean that there's nothing better out there - for somebody else at least

Guys, Update 7:8 is nothing perk but resizing odc tiles some gimmicks are ad there. Now within years this device is peanuts. Just to keep users happy with lolly pop. L900' is more n trouble 500$ device, stuck n between. Nokia has gone fly brained. We may see second option used nxt year, Android 4.2.2!

S2 has dual core and smaller battery 1650 mAh its battery life 40 Hours
While your Lumia 900 has single core and 1830 mAh and its battery life 38 Hours!
Android is much better in battery life.

Why go over Zune? Just install Nokia care suite and download the version specified for your country, most of the country's are covered already, every version has the phone model name and country name, there is no way you can miss. The program detects your phone automatically. After that press "programming" button on the left, select the reinstall option and the program will think that it is restoring a old version but will install the 7.8 version instead.
In total its 10 minutes of time if you have the program. Everything works fine for now, looks really cool and there is no sign of lag.

most of the indian phones have got the 7.8 update because the lumia series was launched in india first.. .. Cheers!
