Wish they could upgrade their P60/70 with more modern cortex A76 cores and graphics 4 core Mali G57. 4G chips very outdated in line up.

I hope we can get some midrange big foldable with this chipset.
6-8gb ram, 128gb storage, midrange cameras and price of around 1000 dollars would be so sweet.

But the US still won't let Exynos and MediaTek into the US market to compete with Qualcomm there. Google Tensor is the closest thing to having Exynos in the US market and there is an emphasis on it being a Google chip instead of Samsung.

George399, 16 Dec 2021Qualcomm is sleepingYeah. So far they have no chip above overclocked SD865 (i.e. SD870 that's still built on 7nm) to fill the spot right below both SD8G1 and SD888. These two have power-hungry X1 or X2 core.
Wanted: SD875 or SD880 built on 5nm
