The frame is not calculated into the matter, so all the marketing images so far do seem to point to the screen being "bezel-less".

    Bezel-less? Clearly there's a bezel there.

Marketing these days really treats consumers as stupid.

Shellyman Studios, 22 Dec 2021I'm waiting for the overheating comments. *Grabs popcorn*Well, they have Exynos on their watches since.. forever. And they are some of the best performing (also better battery life than other Wear and Apple watches). So I think they will be fine.

Maybe it's actually happening this time?

Anonymous, 22 Dec 2021Exynos= Death by Spontaneous combustionNah since Exynos watch SoCs are already on Samsung 5nm which is pretty comparable to N7 which is still better than whatever the 12nm Qualcomm's still using.

And I don't think they're directly competing anyway - if you have an iPhone you're probably buying an Apple Watch, if you don't you're definitely not. That's regardless of any features.

Rumors are that the next Apple Watch will have glucose monitoring, which would be a killer feature if it happens. Apple rarely introduces features that do not work well, so if it happens, Google and Samsung will have a tough time competing. But I hope Google has something great up its sleeve.

I think this would be similar to what Google Pixel 6&Pro have with offline "assistant access and translation machine" embedded inside the chip. That should be an awesome feature to have especially when you don't have/want to have connected smartphone to have fully functional smartwatch.
