c905 probably records at the same quality as the n95
heheh c905's pre release is similar to that of thew k850 which also had a bad proto-pre release photo sample

Looks like the N73's camera is sharper & more colorful than this. The colors need to be adjusted. Higher resolution does not necessarily mean better image quality. Those sample photos suck. Come on S.E

why does SE added more memory to it ,2GB is not enough pls inform them to make it 4 or 8 GB ,thye hav cell phones wid this gb pls tell them to update it

Very nice phone and the camera is a true Sony's Cyber-shot one! But what about video quality? Nokia N95 records ate 640x480 with 30FPS, there's no that has better video quality than N95, does C905 "kills" N95 in pics and video quality? Or Sony Ericsson has failed once again? :(

Daylight photos and so much noise... noise... noise. Imagine what we would see in night shots. Really disappointed with SE pic quality this time although I am a big-time SE fan. And don't tell me this will be fixed in the retail version with aggressive noise reduction.

What i dont understand is that whats the need of putting sample pics if the phone is not a pre-release/near pre-release version?
Its not the right way of launching a product by bringing it bad name while it is still in its infancy!!!!!!

The funny thing is...a lot of people in here is so affected. to think that the only thing that sony ericsson did was to come up with a feature laden, 8 mega pixel camera which was housed in a beautifully design mobile phone. really!
you just can't help but to think and wonder...Why are they so damn affected?!

uhhh.. thats a lot of purple fringing in the sample pics.. however i am quite confident se can sort that out before its release...
i hope they could tidy up the colour and design too. it just looks way too messy for me eyes. This is what i have been waiting for; for a long time, the next cybershot megaphone. atm i am perfectly happy with my k800i.. mind you with a lot of accessories

What non sense a phone cannot beat standalone SONY/CANON digi cam no matter how many megapixel they add Canon VGA camera = 5MP cam phone.

For those who are complaining about picture quality....
Sony Ericson ALWAYS fix their picture quality, before release, and even after release. I've tried all the top brand 5mp camera phones, and trust me, SE will give you the better result if you are patient with updates.

Are all of you blind? These pics terrific, way better than N82 and almost on par with Canon/Nokia digicams. Xenon flash, image stabilizer etc makes this phone the undisputed 2008 Phone of the Year.

SE's 10.3mp camera is just the same quality as the 8.0 mp camera :P
