Aierlan, 28 Dec 2021Seriously doubt it will. Probably just the budget jn1 for t... moreGoing by YouTube results of Mi 12 Pro it is t close to Mi 11 ultra camera performance. Even if it gets software updates in upcoming months still would be lacking behind. Mi 11 ultra at times has better snaps thand iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Cyberchum, 29 Dec 2021The only who claims to know it all and need to get over him... more[Edit] If Xperia Z1 compact is a compact version of Xperia Z1, how in the world isn't Xiaomi 12 a compact version of Xiaomi 12 Pro?

And Asus Zenfone 8 is regarded as a compact phone by a lot of people today, but it's, for all practical purposes, same size as the Xperia Z1: the former a little bit taller; the latter a little bit wider.

Anonymous, 27 Dec 2021Well, phone size standards change according to time. 10 yea... moreHow dare you be reasonable? Never thought that that's allowed here. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Anonymous, 27 Dec 2021Why are you asking others to define what is compact ? If on... moreOh, look here! I've detected another snartass. Yes, a 10" TV would be considered compact when compared to a 12" one.

And, yes, you're very silly for comparing Apples to oranges, saying to use a 10" TV as a phone since I'd consider it compact. Compact what? Against what?

Go and sharpen your logic, boy, because it's sorely deficient!

Anonymous, 27 Dec 2021Compact : Less than 14cm height + less than 7cm width. Where is your source? Who defined that? Who decided on that? Don't worry, you just whipped it outta your arse. LMAO.

Scram, 27 Dec 2021I repeat, give it a rest. I'll add, get over yourself.... moreThe only who claims to know it all and need to get over himself here is you!

Well, you talked a lot, but barely said anything. Is compact too difficult for you to define, boy? What part of size being relative flies over your head? Or is that your simple too dense?

Sony Xperia Z1 compact, with it's 4.3" display, was hailed back in the day for its size by some followers, and no one then would have dared to call 5.4" inches "compact." Yes, not when the regular Xperia ZI was just 5.0" (0.4" more than your best selling COMPACT phone lol). If Xperia Z1 is a compact version of Xperia Z, how in the world isn't Xiaomi 12 a compact version of Xiaomi 12 Pro? But, here you are, being all smart and shit. You must be so good at quantum physics and rocket science that much simpler things elude your grasp. I bet you still wouldn't get the get the "relative" part.

Common sense is truly—and sadly—not common!

I like this design and colors much better than those of samsung's. Wish samsung was better in this regard, because I won't change to a chinese phone, for reasons.

Also, it will weigh 3 kilos! Some phones are truly ridiculously large/heavy; why would anyone need to walk around with such a huge device that they'd be hard pressed to fit in their pocket/bag? My current smartphone is 6.3"/168 grams and it's the absolute largest size/weight that I would find practical/usable.

Does anyone know if they fix already the proximity sensor problems? From what I read, the problem was the actual hardware components. I'm a Samsung regular user, but if these Xiaomi line is IPX68 and fixed the sensor, I'm really up for it

Probably just the budget jn1 for the ultrawide and zoom (if indeed they even are 50mp sensors) . I guess they would have already advertised it if the were using a good sensor for the extra cameras.
