          My Mate 20x never did that and the battery lasted 2 days easy

            This is kind of support for 500+ dollar phones deserve.

            Sadly many oems still lack in software support worst like Honor 1 big android update and 2 years of security updates(with newest Honor 50 and 60 series).

              Galaxy note 10+ 5g might be the best Samsung phone ever released. The new S21 ultra is too narrow and doesn't have a premium build quality that the note 10+ 5G has.

                Samsung did a great job really this year in updating its devices

                  Got my December security patch last week on Note 20 Ultra 5g, that mean Android 12 & UI One will come in January.

                    If you have a Flip 3, don't update to One UI 4 if you use SamSprung for the cover display. It no longer functions. Check Flip 3's Reddit section and it's been confirmed.

                    For my case, I will never update because I use SamSprung quite a bit especially for GMaps, YouTube, or I just want to save battery life using that tiny 1.9" screen. It's also kinda cute watch stuff from it. Like from an iPod nano display.

                    My software updating experience has usually been bad for every smartphone I've owned. Battery life plummets. Weird glitches here and there. Camera gets worse. Apps stop working. This also happened to my MacBook Air. Was totally fine with El Capitan. Now I barely have storage space because the updates take up so much space

                    I prefer the software it usually came with as it was optimized best for that version. Only point-dot updates that I don't mind.

Actually i'm surprised that Samsung updates all the way to S10 in the first batch and going down to midranges after all the supported flagships got updated. So, you always be the first even after 3 years owning S series.
