After looking at the plant photo and seening those horrible noise in picture ... Kodak quality sucks...

this is a very interesting device..the presence of 3.5mmm jack & wi-fi is enough..not many people care about GPS & UMTS/HSDPA..Here in the Philippines, not many people surf the internet through their celphones & only a few makes video call..
N82 is still a more powerful device but it's thick & the design is not that good.If ZN5's camera & xenonflash can keep up with N82 then i guess it's a good buy coz it will be cheaper.
For a while, i thought Motorola would be closing but it seems, for the first time in years, they will come up with a lucrative offering. If the price of ZN5 is right (i think it shouldnt cost above $350.00), Motorola's sales might go up again.

what a brilliant idea!! the part of the phone housing the camera is thick to accomodate a bigger focal length n sensor. Brilliant MOTO!

I told you that the picture quality of the ZN5 does not suck! Take a look at the newest camera samples of the ZN5...very high quality I must say. Motorola will never go down without a fight!!!!!!!

I... morenot really... some already have. not having a 3g is a real drawback because like what i did with my n95 8gb, i snap and i upload on the spot to flickr. so i would really be a happy guy if that zn5 has 3g capability even if they dont put it with video call; just for the data service.
although it is beta, but it looks promising... for a cameraphone... i wonder how its night shot is?

Don't you know that in the Philippines the 3G network has been available since June 2005?? Yes take note, "SINCE JUNE 2005"!! So don't generalize!
And I guess this Motorola ZN5 can't really beat the N82, a contrary to what you've said. You're way tooooo ambitious!. We all know that this is just the first 5 mp cameraphone from Motorola so don't ever dare to compare this to those NSeries phones!

i think nobody has the right to critique a phone that they've NEVER handled yet. as much as they want to put down a brand/model/future release, they can only SPECULATE. sample pics shown here, AGAIN are BETA SAMPLES. meaning they MAY NOT BE the actual quality of pics in the final commercial release. and stop comparing models/brands if you guys don't know what "product positioning" means.
