I guess its better to have just 120* ultrawide cam with real and proper large camera sensor and large picel size with atleast 1.9 aperature unlike just fake large sensor in oneplus abd oppo which is equal to smaller sensor from samsung and iphone

Coming back to LG after using Mate 40 Pro really make me appreciate more wider pov.

If lems has zero dostortion (something no lens on Earth has, not even for 📷), they would use much wider FOV and take advantage of it.
Do not fall for it, like the moon shot.

Only Huawei has found a solution to the problem of distortion. The Mate 40 Pro uses a freeform lens. Instead of being spherical or aspherical, it's an asymmetrical lens with a complex and uneven surface. Like this, the lens corrects distortion instantly, without the need of software post-processing.

Second mode uses whole FOV, the fisheye effect .

Still waiting for that human-eye, birds-eye(+UV) and snake-eye(IR, thermsal) mode. Congrats to huawei for acquiring birds-eye mode, Doogee/Cat for snake-eye.

Even for 📷 there are some fisheye lens... moreit was neither vivo who invented this fish eye photography. it can't be adopted by any other brand, because vivo adopted it either. Moreover it is gimmick, as it's only purpose is to make artistic images with no other use than looking artistic. I am not going to buy this phone because of its fish eye mode. if I buy it, than because of its real camera capabilities.
