Then After Huawei Ban both A11 and A12 downgrade to crappy Cortex A53 only soc, even in India Those M1x and M2X I don't think they are better than 2 Generations Ago.
Xiaomi is not Threat yet to Samsung, they are doing good but not to Samsung level.

I have never said these are poor performing phones.. or looks bad.. My point is .. when you have 5 phones as favorite and all of them does the same thing.. your choice/editor's is definitely boring and generic.

And most of these are priced reasonably. These are all flagship killers except for the Vivo and maybe the Oppo so the focus is on performance and hitting a certain price point rather than great cameras. The Vivo however has great cameras.

All these might have flagship specs.. but everything else is generic.. only thing unique about these phones are false high hope marketing.. and back glass colors.. which nobody will be able to see when you put on a case.. i mean bmw colors for design lol.. even that is a borrowed sense of style

Looks like people here commenting did not read second paragraph. That person says they are "GSMArena.com's India-based Editor" and selected smartphones "from the ones I got to use myself for extended periods" so obviously the list was going to be about phones available in India and the ones they got to use themselves long enough. Yes it looks like all BBK but there's Motorola and the person must not have received phones from other brands or did not get to use them long enough. There is also X70 Pro+ so the list is not just about affordable phones.

Can you explain why Samsung would produce budget phones if it is not a significant demographic of buyers? Samsung actually started concentrating on making better budget models after it got beaten in India by Xiaomi a few years ago.

Wow, we got a BBK fest here! I think the GT Neo2 is overall better than the GT. Even the SD888 that should have advantage on paper over 870 is actually worse in real world use due to throttling, battery drain and games limited to 60fps.
