It's a shame only select flagship phones have [good] telephotos. Most phones today either don't have it at all, or they still use the crap 8MP one. For me periscope telephoto with at least 5x zoom and 12MP is a must on a flagship. The absolutely weirdest thing is how Oppo had 5x periscope on the Find X2 Pro, and then for some reason they opted for the gimmickish microscope in the Find X3 Pro. So dumb!

    I need 512GB storagr and sadly, no Oneplus phones have 512GB, they max out at 256GB. Also, sad to see the same rubbish telephoto and selfie camera hardware. It is too outdated. An 12 MP 2,5 zoom would better, since with the 9 Pro, Oneplus doesn't let you use tele lens in portrait and night mode as well as no video for telephoto lens.

    Selfie should also be upgraded to a new sensor, capable of 4k60fps and night mode, also 18mm lens is appreciated than those tight selfie cams

      It's funny, people are moaning about lack of periscope camera, but these same people don't find such issues with the latest iPhones & Samsung's non-Ultra phones (which come without any "true" optical zoom camera at all).

      I'm not defending OnePlus, I'm just saying keep your views same for every brand.

        So the cameras just recycle last year OP 9 pro minus 2mp monochrome. 8mp telephoto heck atleast use 12mp so u can call it pro.

          OnePlus has lost its way. Most fans of OnePlus were those who liked UI close to Stock android. If someone likes ColorOS, will buys Oppos phone, why should buy OnePlus phone.

              I'd rather have 50MP telephoto and 8MP ultrawide instead. Zoom is still more useful than ultrawide. A large Megapixel telephoto sensor is helpful for more detailed zoom photos.

                I mean, I'm glad for the battery bump but I feel like this phone isn't going to be much different from its predecessor. It still won't have a 512GB/1TB trim, it still won't bring back the headphone jack, it's still going to have a punch hole for a display, and it still doesn't have a 5X periscope.

                The excitement for OnePlus has seriously gone down the drain.
