Hyo Rim 1st, 05 Jan 2022I'm hoping that the price will not increase and stay a... moreThe F3 ran on Snapdragon's 870, not the flagship 888. It was a rebrand of the vanilla Redmi K40. News about the vanilla K50 aren't specific enough to know wether it will run the more expensive 888 or not, so any prediction regarding the price will be bold to say the least.
If it uses the 888, then expect a higher price tag that isn't way far off the original F3/K40. If it uses the 8 Gen 1 then expect the price gap to be quite big.
Just as a side note : Realme's GT and brand new GT2 run on the same 888 SoC and are priced above $400, so it remains to be seen how Xiaomi will respond.
