Such people won't have a problem with the SE, the thing is that enthusiasts just can't conceive there are so many people like that.

Budget and mid range android devices have 6 months refresh cycle, most of the time, they even have less. For example, I just bought Realme 8i last month and in January, they announced the Realme 9i lol.

I apple sells the iPhone 3G with an updated SoC, people will still buy it. anything just to get their hands on that shiny Apple logo to fill up their empty ego

Whilst modern day don't want this kind of thing there are STILL people who just prefer a home button and a device that not large.
Working in phone sales really opens your mind to what Apple consumers want and it's not always about spec, it's name.
This is pretty much targeted for the budget user, first time buyer, and absolutely elderly people. Would also stop them buying a refurbished 6 7 or 8 (wich is the worst thing to do in 2022)
Like Iv always said, had IOS been part sold over to another branded device you can bet apple users would go over to it if it's cheaper.
I'm not an apple person in the slightest (far from it) but whilst most people don't understand the marketing behind it, there is definately still a market for the style of phone.

AnonD-1015799, 09 Jan 2022LMFAO.. and you do know that a huge majority of Samsungs sa... moreyeah here. in West Baltimore, most android and Samsung people buy are entry level and mid range models that are "low tier" enough to have FM radio (feature usually nonexistant in most flagships these days) cause the nature of their profession dictates they need an affordable decently durable with a cheap case device - when people usually get money around here, they go for a iPhone - i just use Galaxy A21 and a iPhone 7 - the only foldable phone you will see around these parts is a Maxwell or Nokia flip phone that will get thrown in a city garbage can after 30 minutes of use
