Already some places sell it 699 € for 6/128 model and 769 € for 8/256. The prices are dropping with time. You can buy S20 FE at 429 €.

Why is this ph... moreI think Samsung's aim for this phone is to encourage people to trade in their old phones given the high maximum cap of 750 as stated in the article, since I haven't seen this huge of a maximum trade-off compared to their other phones. Or at least in my local area.

$850 for this? Is Samsung out of their mind? Why is this phone called "fan edition" anyway? This phone is the embodiment of everything the fans don't want
"Failed edition" would be a much more fitting name

This samsung set initial price so high only to be come down drastically in 1-2 months after poor sales.

In Portugal you can get an S21 for 599€ while the S21 FE goes for 749€. That 150€ difference is hard to ignore. When the S22 comes out the S21 should drop even more as on Black Friday you could catch it for 559€.
Unless the S21 FE drops to a minimum of 649€ in February it will be a total flop.
*Also the S20 FE 5G is at 499€ right now.

Price of this thing makes no sense. It's a cut down version of 1 year old Galaxy S21 yet it's priced the same as S21 was a year ago. WTF?! Why is this device even a thing and how stupid you have to be to buy one?! Makes no sense at all.

Techfun, 07 Jan 2022Lol illogical price ,S21 price has come down Technically 23 EUR per month without monthly service plan or 740 EUR...isnt too high price, considering S22 will be maybe 850 EUR or with montly plan services 30 EuR or so. S22+ or S22U much more expensive.

I think Samsung plays a smart game here. And they are now actually only global brand in the world who release smartphones on the day when are prwctically released.
This phone is released today and today you can already buy it here in Europe. Thats whats Chinese brands need to look for. Released and then smartphones should be in stores, where carriers are.
